Ever’ time I close my eyes,
I see you and me dancing
underneath the the night sky,
filled with rain, all alone.

The world no longer matters,
all the pain, all the sadness
gone missing with you in
my arms another moment. . .

Another tear falls down my
face each time you go away,
leaving me here to miss you
for another day.

All things you have said to
me, caress my heart’s desire
making yesterday never enough
for tomorrow.

Ever’ time I close my eyes,
Ever’ time I close my eyes,

Ever’ time I close my eyes,
I see you and me dancing
underneath the night sky,
filled with rain, all alone.

The music never ends, always
slow enough for you and I to
be less than an inch from each
other, pressed close together.

No other thought matters,
all the pain, all the sadness
gone missing with you in
my arms another moment. . .

They’re all watching us now
with our love so eternal,
ever’ laugh, ever’ smile
a joy to their hearts.

Ever’ time I close my eyes. . .
Ever’ time I close my eyes. . .

Ever’ time I close my eyes,
I lose my mind thinking about you,
wanting our moment never to end,
This is not enough!

This is not enough!
This is not enough!

Will the world ever know how,
I would place it in a snow globe
if I could but give it to you. . .

Ever’ time I close my eyes. . .
Ever’ time I close my eyes. . .

Ever’ time I close my eyes,
I see you and me dancing
underneath the night sky,
filled with rain, all alone.
