Today, I hopped in the Anathema to go scan down some more anomalies near the home station. Unexpectedly, I stumbled upon a C-3 class wormhole so in I went. This is always a precarious situation because you never know who or what could be sitting on the other side. I was lucky on this occasion, the entire system appeared to be empty so I set out my scanning probes and proceeded to see what interesting things would pop-up for me. Aside from the usual combat anomalies and ore belts, there were more wormholes! It was like a wormhole inception. I didn’t have much time so I didn’t go exploring deeper into the rabbit hole.

I proceeded complete scanning the system down, finding a couple of data and relic sites along with 3 more more wormholes and several planets. Unfortunately for me, I’m more interested in seeing what these planets look and capturing their beauty as I’m going through space. If I had more time, I might have gone back home for a better ship that is more capable of fending off attacks so that I could have also hacked some of the data and relic sites.

I’m always so weary of taking time out to hack these sites in lower security systems because of how often they get traversed. Even more so in wormholes since it is much more difficult to tell when someone else is in system. Something I’ll have to get over in order to reap the benefits of these trips.
